Andalusian Reining Added at National Show

It's official - The International Andalusian and Lusitano Horse Association has announced the creation of the $1,000 Added Open Reining class for the 2005 National Show.

The IALHA is offering this exciting new added money class to promote the versatility of the breed and to increase the number of IALHA bred horses competing in the NRHA.  As well as offering $1000 in added prize money, the class will award a trophy saddle sponsored by www.discounttack.com  and a specially designed reining horse trophy designed by  sculptor Bob Hadley, along with numerous other gifts and prizes.

The class is open to any professional or non-pro rider that is competing on an IALHA registered horse. To qualify, you must attend one of the IALHA’s national qualifying shows and place in the top 3 of the reining class in order to be eligible to show at the National show. (Note: If your area or region does not offer the reining class give them a call or contact Susan Cooper, the national show chair, ElysianRanch@aol.com and ask her to please have it added.) 

If there is enough interest in 2005, the reining class will be divided into an open and a non-pro category for 2006 national show.
